Olga N. Ermoluk, age 83, of St. Petersburg, Florida, and who lastly resided with her son at in Ripon, during her long illness, passed away on February 8, 1999.
She was born on June 19, 1915, in St. Petersburg, Russia. She was the daughter of the late Nicolaus Kusminsky and Eugcnia Giiavitskaya. She attended the Technical University in Sukhim, Russia. She fled the Soviet Union with her son during the war years and was a stateless person until her immigration to the United States in 1949. She was married to John V. Ermoluk until his death in 1974.
She was a teacher of Russian language for many years at Syracuse University, Syracuse, New York and at the Presidio Language Institute, Monterey, California.
She is survived by her son, Eugene J. Kain, her daughter-in-law, Evelyn M. Kain, and her grandsons, Jacob E. Kain and Nicolaus F. Kain, of Ripon, Wisconsin.
Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorial services will take place at St. Andrews Russian Orthodox Church in St. Petersburg, Florida.
