Olga Kallin

Olga R. Kallin, 84, of Ripon, passed away Thursday afternoon May 21, 1998, at Parkview Care Center in Ripon.

She was born on October 27, 1913, the daughter of Ole and Raffina (Strand) Mikkelson in Arkdale, Wisconsin. Olga attended school in Dellwood, Wisconsin. On January 18, 1934, she married Frank Kallin, they have lived in Ripon since 1955. She was a mother and housewife, and a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Ripon.
Survivors include her children, Walter Kallin of Neenah, William Kallin of Ripon, Sandra (Earl) Splittgaber of Ripon; eight grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; one brother, Ric (Lillian) Mikkelson, nieces and nephews. Olga was preceded in death by her parents, husband Frank in 1994, one brother Lewis Mikkelson, and her daughter-in-law June C. Kallin.
A funeral service for Olga will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday May 27, 1998, at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Ripon with the Pastor David Haberkorn officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday May 26th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
A memorial has been established.
Because of construction at the church you may enter through the lower level door on the north side of the church and use the stairs to get to the main level or use the door on the East End of the building, which is the main level.
Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
