Orbert Goodrich

Orbert W. Goodrich, age 57, of the Town of Rosendale, WI passed away on Monday, September 14, 1953 at the Veterans Hospital in Wood, WI.

Orbert was born in the Town of Rosendale on March 8, 1896, the son of Ora and Bertha (Oleson) Goodrich. He farmed and lived in the Town of Rosendale all his life. On November 18, 1931 he married Eva Williams in Ripon. Orbert was a member of the Brown-Parfitt Post of the Ripon American Legion and also a member of the Ripon Methodist Church. He served our country in World War I.

Orbert is survived by his wife, Eva Goodrich; a daughter, Argene Bradley of Pickett, WI, a granddaughter; and one brother, Glen P. Goodrich of the Town of Rosendale, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ora and Bertha Goodrich.

Visitation for Orbert will be held from 6:00 pm on Tuesday, September 15, 1953 until 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 17, 1953 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.

Funeral service for Orbert will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 17, 1953 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, with Reverend Douglas Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Zoar Cemetery in the Town of Rosendale, WI.
