Orville William Hoffman, age 88, of Ripon, WI, died Saturday, March 15, 1997, at Parkview Care Center.
He was born May 24, 1908, in Ripon, a son to the late William and Maire (Heidtmann) Hoffman. Orville graduated from Ripon High School with high honors. He served in the Army from 1941 to 1945. Orville was an owner and operated a repair Radio and TV shop. He was a member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ, Ripon and had lived in Ripon all of his life.
He is survived by five sisters, Leone Hoffman of Ripon, Marion (Adolph) Hermann of Ripon, Irene Masche of Ripon, Vera Myers of Milwaukee, and Gladys Strebig of Medford; one brother, Charles (June) Hoffman of Redwood city of California. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held 11 am Tuesday, March 18, 1997, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home of Ripon with Reverend James D. Mohr officiating. Burial will be held at Loper Cemetery in the Town of Ripon.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 am to time of services at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. A memorial has been established.
