Orville E. Hoth, age 84, of Ripon, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2009, at HCR Manor Care in Fond du Lac.
Orville was born on May 9, 1924, in Ripon, the son of Elmer and Frieda (Washkoska) Hoth. He was educated in Ripon schools and served in the National Guard. In 1965, he married Vera Ganson. He was a caretaker of properties in Green Lake. Orville was a past member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ, Odd Fellow Drum and Bugle Corps. and enjoyed the EAA which was a big part of his life.
Survivors include daughter, Monica Wickboldt of Ripon; sons, Gary (Sharon) Lunzmann of Cedar Grove and Dennis Lunzmann of Fox Lake; grandchildren, Tami (Darrell) Roecker, Erik (Annette) Russell and Ryan Lunzmann; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Tyler and Lucas Roecker and Emma Lunzmann; brothers, Earl (Charmanie) Hoth and Harold (Kathleen) Hoth both of Ripon; sister-in-law, Alice Rayner of Manchester, England and nephews, Mike and Jim Hoth. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Vera and nephew, Ron Hoth.
Visitation for Orville E. Hoth will be on Thursday, March 5, 2009, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Orville E. Hoth will be on Thursday, March 5, 2009, at 3:00 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Reverend Mark R. West officiating. Private Inurnment will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. A memorial has been established.
