Oscar Arthur Hageman, age 86, of Rosendale, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2009, at Barrett House in Ripon.
Oscar was born on October 22, 1923, in Ripon, on the family farm, the son of William and Leona (Krueger) Hageman. In 1953, Oscar married Marilyn Andresen in the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Oshkosh. He worked as a farmer and laborer. He was also a lunch and mail deliverer for Ripon Public Schools. Oscar was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ, Church Council, Pairs and Spares, Church Choir, an usher and greeter; and was part of several camping groups.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn of Rosendale, WI; one son, Duane Hageman of West Palm Beach, FL; one daughter, Tammy (Tom) Widlake of Ripon, WI; one grandson, Clint (Stephanie) Widlake of Green Lake, WI; one granddaughter, Melissa Widlake of Berlin, WI; one sister, Viola Hagemann of Ripon, WI; and several nieces and nephews. Oscar was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Elsie Hall.
Visitation for Oscar Hageman will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2009, from 9 – 11:00 a.m. at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Oscar Hageman will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon. Reverend Mark R. West will officiate. Interment will follow at Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake. Memorials may be given to Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ Parish Nurse Fund and Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ Radio Fund, 343 Scott St. Ripon, WI 54971.
