Oswald Feder, age 72, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 1991, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Feder was born October 29, 1918, in Green Lake County, a son to Reinhold and Pauline (Keplin) Feder. On October 28, 1944, he married Vivian Gitzel and farmed in Green Lake County. He later worked at the Nellis Limestone Quarry and then for the Green Lake County Highway Department. Mr. Feder was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Ripon where he served on the Board of Deacons of the church. He was past President of the Mens Fellowship Group of the Assembly of God Church in Berlin. He had served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian; two sons, Ronald (Dawn) Feder and Phillip (Beth) Feder, both of Ripon, two daughters, Sharon Feder of Green Lake and Gloria (Joe) Brostowski of Lake Geneva; six grandchildren; one brother, Arthur (Elaine) Feder of Green Lake; five sisters, Clara Gitzel and Evelyn Mantik, both of Green Lake, Helen Strage of Waupun, and Verona Werch and Hazel Minch, both of Ripon, and other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call Friday, April 19, 1991, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon.
Funeral services for Mr. Feder will be held Saturday, April 20, 1991, at 3:00 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church, Ripon. The Reverend Donald Deike and Joseph Brostowski will officiate. Interment will follow in Bluffton Cemetery, Town of Brooklyn, in Green Lake County. Memorials in his name may be directed to the Assembly of God Church Building Fund.
