Otto Miller

Otto A. Miller, age 65, of Ripon, WI died in an automobile accident on County Trunk F between Ripon and Berlin, WI on Wednesday, December 5, 1956.

Otto was born in Germany on February 15, 1891, the son of Henry and Johanna (Witt) Miller. He moved to Wisconsin as an infant and has resided in the Ripon area all his life. Otto was educated in Green Lake, WI and worked for Nellis Limestone Co. in Ripon. On March 24, 1915 he married Bertha Duehring.

Otto is survived by his wife, Bertha Miller of Ripon, WI; three daughters, Mrs. Sulo Kolman of Isanti, MN, Mrs. John Radke of Ripon, WI and Betty Miller of Los Angeles, CA; four sons, Earl of Redondo Beach, CA, Gordon of Ripon, WI, Milton of Green Lake, WI, and Donald of Ripon, WI; nine grandchildren; seven sisters, Mrs. Henry Dehn of Oshkosh, WI, Mrs. Albert Salzwedel of Eldorado, WI, Mrs. Edward Buethin of Ripon, WI, Mrs. Leo Miller of Chicago, IL, Mrs. Fred Buethin of Green Lake Center, WI, Mrs. Louis Buethin also of Green Lake Center, WI, and Margaret Miller of Milwaukee, WI, and a brother, Henry Miller of Rosendale, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Johanna Miller and a brother.

Visitation for Otto will be held from 3:00 pm on Friday, December 7, 1956 until 11:00 am on Saturday, December 8, 1956 at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon, and again from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 8, 1956 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon.

Funeral service for Otto will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 8, 1956 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon, with Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
