Palma Thompson

Palma Louise Thompson, age 91, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 1991, at Parkview Care Center.

Mrs. Thompson was born September 6, 1899, in Dallas, WI, a daughter to Theodore and Emma Bonkrude Thompson. She attended normal school and had taught school for many years. She was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Cameron, WI, where she was a Sunday School Teacher and Superintendent for 25 years. She had been married to Herman Thompson from August 25, 1921, until he passed away in 1977.

She is survived by two sons, Jerry (Marguerite) Thompson of Ripon and Ted (Jane) Thompson of Oshkosh; one daughter, Beth Lipscomb of Union, S.C.; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband and two sisters.

Funeral Services for Palma Thompson were held Wednesday, September 4, 1991, at Cameron with the Reverend Roderick Anderson Officiating. Burial was in the Dallas Cemetery, in Dallas, WI. Memorials to her name may be directed to Faith Lutheran Church.
