Patricia "Patti" D. Madigan

Patricia “Patti” D. Madigan, age 65, of Rosendale, WI passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at home with her family by her side.

Patti was born in Cumberland, WI on October 11, 1959 to parents Dave and Jimmie (Wolf) Dimick. Patti was blessed with three beautiful children, Amanda (Matt) Wycklendt, David (Savannah) Romens, Megan (Brad) Winter and three grandchildren, Eddy, Emma, and Teagan. Patti had a beautiful large family. She is survived by her husband, Kevin, three sisters, Debbie (Rick) Struck, Becky Darkow, and Marion Ollinger along with many nieces and nephews that she held dear. She is also survived by her mother and father-in-law, Terry and Karen Madigan as well as her sisters and brothers-in-law, Lori Moellenberndt, Brian (Loriann) Madigan, Carrie (Kurt) Krohn, Mark (Christie) Madigan, and Justin (Kathryn) Madigan. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Peter Darkow.

Patti lived her life through Christ. She was very active in church and lived with grace, faith and praised God. Jesus walked with her through her life and she used her beautiful voice to sing praises to the Lord. God gave Patti many talents and passions. Patti was a well-respected nurse for 40 years. She devoted her life to serving others. Patti was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend. She met the love of her life, Kevin Madigan, on a blind date and he filled her life with love and happiness. Kevin devoted himself to support Patti through her journey. Patti was also a cherished friend to many. She was a proud member of the Queendom with her 3 best friends since elementary school, Dana Moran, Debbie Karegeannes, and Coleen Gerkhardt. Patti built lifelong friendships with Denise since the age of 4, Jackie, her best friend from nursing school, and Laura from her time working at county hospital in Milwaukee. Patti was loved beyond words and will be missed by all who knew her.

Visitation for Patti will be held from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday, January 17, 2025 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971, and again from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Peace Lutheran Church, 124 S. Main St., Rosendale, WI 54974.

Funeral service for Patti will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Peace Lutheran Church in Rosendale, with Pastor Mark Knappe officiating. You may view a livestream of Patti’s funeral service at 11:00 am by visiting this link LIVESTREAM. Inurnment will take place at St. Mary Cemetery in Rosendale at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Patti’s name is being established.
