Patricia Racine, age 73, of Green Lake, passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2008, at Mercy Medical Center, Oshkosh with her family at her side.
Patricia was born on March 24, 1934, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Clarence and Mary (Donley) King. She graduated from St. Willowbroad High School, and she worked as an X-ray Technician. On July 30, 1955 she married Tom Racine at St. Killians Catholic Church. She was a member of St. Catherines of Siena Catholic Church in Ripon, Business and Professional Womens Club, previous Vice Chairman of the 6th District Republican Party, Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Green Lake County Republican Organization, she worked on many state and national elections. She was also a member of the Society of Radiological Technologists and the Green Lake County Homemakers.
Survivors include her husband Tom Racine of Green Lake, her children, Barbara (Tim) Zimmerman of Stevens Point, Joe Racine of Green Lake, Sue (Jim) Davis of DeWitt, MI, and Jim (Dawn) Racine of Brighton, MI; nine grandchildren, Edward, Jon, Nicole, Catherine, Jill, Michael, Julie, Zachary, and Ben; and one sister, Mary Ann (Ken) Brygal, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Gerald King.
Visitation for Patricia Racine will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, February 29th, 2008 at St. Catherines Catholic Church, 218 Blossom St. Ripon.
Mass of Christian Burial for Patricia Racine will be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. Catherines Catholic Church, 218 Blossom St. Ripon with Reverend Robert A. Fictum officiating. Interment will follow in Bluffton Cemetery, Town of Brooklyn. A memorial has been established.
