Paul A. Menard, age 72, of 260 Stoney Ridge Road, Ripon, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2007 at Ripon Medical Center.
Paul was born in Escanaba, MI, on March 30, 1935 the son of Paul A. and Mildred J. (Nordin) Menard. He graduated from Escanaba High School and the University of Michigan. Paul worked as a Social Studies teacher at Riverview High School in Riverview, MI, and served in the US Army.
Survivors include his brother, Stephen J. (Judy) Menard of Shawano, three sisters; Marcia A. (Scott Goplin) Baenen-Goplin of Ripon, Michele M. Menard & Special friend Bill Patton of Madison, and Melinda M. (Todd Handel) Menard of Madison, one brother-in-law, Harold ODonnell of Chippewa Falls, nieces and nephews; Paul (Sharla) Baenen of DePere, Laura (Ryan Peissig) Baenen of Oshkosh, Adam Goplin and Alex Goplin both of Ripon, Christa Stone and Tony Stone both of Madison, Renee Menard of Sun Prairie, Brigitte Menard, Suzanne Menard both of Shawano, Michael (Jody) ODonnell of Idaho, Beth ODonnell,Roseanne ODonnell, and Tim ODonnell all of Chippewa Falls. Paul was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Marlene.
There will be an open house on Friday, April 13, 2007, from 4-7:00 pm for family and friends at the Goplin residence, 825 Metomen St. in Ripon. Inurnment will be at a later date in Holy Cross Cemetery in Escanaba, MI. A memorial has been established in his name.
