Paul Leo Andrew Wesolek, age 94, of Ripon, WI passed away peacefully on Friday, January 3, 2025 at Eden Vista in Ripon.
Paul was born in Saginaw, MI on March 27, 1930 to Casimer and Mary (Adamski) Wesolek. He attended schools in Ripon, and at 17 years of age joined the U.S. Army. It was during his service time (1947-1953) that he met the love of his life, Toshi (Narita) Wesolek. They were married on November 29, 1951 at the American Embassy in Japan. After serving his country, Paul and Toshi eventually settled back in Ripon. After many years of working, Paul retired on March 25, 1994 from Speed Queen. Paul and Toshi spent 61 wonderful years together; traveling, fishing, gardening, and always keeping an immaculate yard. Paul was also a wonderful, compassionate caregiver to his Toshi, always being by her side. In his spare time he enjoyed watching Westerns and The Packers games. He spent Sunday mornings with his friend and neighbor, Steve, enjoying breakfast and a car ride to any town in the area of Paul’s choosing. Steve’s children became Paul’s inherited grandchildren, and he cherished time with them and loved watching them play sports and going to their school concerts.
Survivors include his cousin-in-law, Peggy Adamski; best friend, Steve Parnell; his inherited grandchildren, Anthony Parnell, McKenzie Parnell, Sebastian Cook, Gavin Parnell, and Landon Parnell; other extended relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Toshi; parents, Casimer and Mary Wesolek; a brother, John Wesolek; special cousin, Sylvester “Sy” Adamski; aunts; uncles; and several other cousins.
