Percy W. Davis, age 90, of the Town of Ripon, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 1991, at his home.
Mr. Davis was born September 13, 1900, in Omro, the son of Thomas and Anne (Mather) Davis. On September 9, 1924, he married Edna Kroll in Elo, WI. They farmed in the Brandon area.
He is survived by his wife Edna, five sons, Gordon (Pearl) of Sauk of City, Roy Everitt of Oakfield, Kenneth (Sharon) of Sheboygan, Marvin (Janice) of Brandon, Ronald (Sandy) of Fond du Lac; five daughters, Shirley (Vern) Shanley of Smith Center, KS, Elizabeth (Glenn) Marquart of Ripon, Loretta (James) Howard of Union Lake, MI, Lois (Warren) Stone of Randolph, and Joan (Legrand) Stibb of Ripon; daughter-in-law Lona Mae Davis of Markesan; thirty grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren and one great-great- grandson; further survived by other relatives and friends. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, two sisters and one son, Warren Davis.
Friends may call Wednesday, May 15, 1991, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral Services for Percy W. Davis will be held Thursday, May 16, 1991 at 11:00 a.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. The Reverend Robert LeCount will officiate. Interment will follow in Omro Cemetery.
