Phylis G. Lueck, age 81, of Ripon, passed away on April 23, 2009, at home.
Phylis was born on April 6th 1928, in Ripon, the daughter of George and Elaine (Samuelson) Prelwitz. She was a graduate of Ripon High School. She married Herbert W. Lueck in Princeton on August 17th, 1946. Phylis worked as an office clerk for many years at Speed Queen, Ripon Coop and also at Parkview Care Center. She was a member at Mt Zion Evangelical Lutheran church, of Ripon, and a member of The Red Hatters, The Golden Girls, and a past member of the Ripon Lioness.
Survivors include one brother, William (Arlene J. Thiem) Prelwitz, of Ripon; one sister, Doris Raab of Oshkosh; nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Herbert, August 6th, 1990; and her son David, November 11th, 1974; brother Richard Prelwitz and her sister Sally Weir.
Visitation for Phylis Lueck will be held on Saturday, May 2nd, 2009, from 10-11:00 am at Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon.
Memorial service for Phylis Lueck will be held on Saturday, May 2nd, 2009, at 11:00 am at Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon. Pastor Dennis Meier will be officiating. A memorial has been established in Phylis name at Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church.
