Phyllis V. Lindeman

Phyllis V. Lindeman, age 86, of Ripon, WI passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Bay Harbor Memory Care in Ripon, with her family by her side.

Phyllis was born on January 23, 1938 in the village of Brandon, WI, daughter of Neal and Anna (Krause) Tank. She graduated from Brandon High School. On June 17, 1956, Phyllis married Lyle Lindeman at Emanuel Lutheran Church also in Brandon. She helped Lyle on the family farm for over 25 years, and later in life worked at Braun’s Restaurant, Dean Foods, and JMS. She was a devoted member of Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon. Phyllis enjoyed quilting and was a former member of Dorcas Circle at the church.

Phyllis is survived by her son, Blayne Lindeman; three daughters, Annette M. (Michael) Dugenske, Paula L. (Russell) Rohde, and Michele K. (Steven) Jacobs; eight grandchildren, Jessica, Jeremy, Craig, Kristin, Jason, Casandra, Dylan, and Bryce; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, William (Ruth) Tank; sister-in-law, Avis Lindeman; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Neal and Anna Tank; her husband, Lyle Lindeman; a brother, Wayne Tank; sisters-in-law, Audrey Tank and Loraine Berg; and a brothers-in-law, Carroll Lindeman and Wilson Berg.

Visitation for Phyllis will be held from 9:00 until 10:00 am on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Grace Lutheran Church, 430 W. Griswold St., Ripon, WI 54971.

Funeral service for Phyllis will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon, with Rev. Clay R. Salmela officiating. You may view a livestream of the service at 10:00 am by visiting Grace Lutheran Livestream. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial is being established in her name.
