Phyllis E. Liptow, age 92, of 115 North Eagle Street, Oshkosh, died on Monday, April 30, 2007 at Bethel Homes in Oshkosh.
She was born on January 31, 1915, in Oak Park Hospital, Oak Park, IL, the daughter of Curtis and Edna Tansley. Phyllis graduated from High School in 1931 and she married William W. Liptow who was the former Fire Chief of Maywood, IL Fire Department.
Survivors include her daughter, Judi (Ken) Lund of Green Lake, and her grandchildren; Melissa Lund of Chesterfield, MO, and Robert Kirtland of Kennesha, GA, and one great-grandson, Brandon Kirtland. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter Nancy Kirtland, one sister, Ferne Kouba, and one brother Howard.
Visitation for Phyllis E. Liptow will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2007 at Bethel Home Chapel of Faith and Life at 155 North Eagle Street, Oshkosh, from 6-7:00 pm.
Funeral Services for Phyllis E. Liptow will be held at the graveside in Mt. Emblem Cemetery, Elmhurst, IL on Saturday, May 5, 2007 at 11:00 am. Memorials can be given to Bethel Home.
