Phyllis Reiter, age 68, of Pickett, died February 15, 1999, at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born September 19, 1930, in Oshkosh, a daughter to Emil and Harriet (Bradley) Kloehn, Jr. She was a graduate of Omro High School, and on September 9, 1949 she married Donald E. Reiter. Phyllis had lived in Pickett most of her life, and was restaurant manager for Westhaven Supper Club in Oshkosh until her retirement in 1992. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Ripon.
She is survived by her children, Susan (Larry) Holub of DeForest, Sally (Bill) Silgman of Markesan, Jill (Marty) Koopman of Waupun, James (Michele) Reiter of Winneconne, Joey Reiter of Miami, FL, Jeffrey (Ruth) Reiter of Oshkosh, Dan Reiter of Ripon, Kerry (Ron) Altnau of Pickett, and Kelly Reiter of Oshkosh; 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, James (Donna) Kloehn of Oshkosh; sisters-in-law, Helen Fritz of Wautoma and Shirley Reiter of Waukau; brother-in-law, Robert (Carol) Reiter of Omro; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Reiter in 1983, and 1 son, Scott C. Reiter in 1983.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 17, 1999, from 5 until 8 PM at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Mass of Christian Burial will be said Thursday, February 18, 1999, at 11 AM at St Patrick Catholic Church, Ripon with Father John A. Schmitz officiating. Interment will be in Liberty Prairie Cemetery, Pickett. A memorial has been established.
