Phyllis Roeder

Phyllis Loraine Roeder, age 70, of Ripon, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 21, 2008, after a nearly 5 year courageous battle with cancer.

Phyllis was born March 12, 1938, in Princeton, the only daughter of Carl and Marvine (Wegner) Kuehneman. She graduated from Princeton High School and prior to her marriage she worked for the A.C. Nielson Company in Fond du Lac. Phyllis married Ferd Roeder on September 30, 1961. She was a member of Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon. Phyllis took great pride in her skills as a homemaker, and joy in finding ways to make those around her feel special. Her favorite hobbies were attending auctions and garage sales and especially spending time with her special grandson, Jason.

Phyllis is survived by her husband, Ferd; her mother, Marvine; one son, Mark and his wife Kathryn; and one grandson, Jason. She was preceded in death by her Father, Carl Kuehneman.

Visitation for Phyllis L. Roeder will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon.

Funeral Service for Phyllis L. Roeder will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, with Pastor Dennis Meier officiating.
Graveside service and interment will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at Memory Hill Cemetery in Princeton.

The family would especially like to thank Dr. Sakrison for her support and caring as well as Ripon Hospital, St. Agnes Hospice of Hope, and the UW Cancer Center for the wonderful care they gave Phyllis.

A memorial has been established.
