Quirin Edward Jung, age 75, Ripon, WI, died Saturday, December 14, 1996, at Parkview Care Center in Ripon.
He was born June 2, 1921, in Manitowoc, a son to Albert and Catherine Jung. He graduated from Manitowoc High School and attended Oshkosh State Teachers College. Quirin had lived in the Ripon area since 1948, and was principal and teacher at Ripon Central Elementary School until his retirement. He served in the Army during WWII from 1945 – 47. Quirin was a member of the First Congregational Church in Ripon, Teachers Association and the Ripon Eagles Club.
He is survived by two daughters, Kathy (Bob) Holman of Oregon and Mary (Roger) Adams of Michigan; two sons, David Jung of Fond du Lac and George Jung of Ripon; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant son, James in 1952, and two sisters and one brother.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, December 17, 1996, at 11 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with Reverend John N. Bixby, Jr. officiating.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 9 am until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
