Ralph E. Brockway, Sr., age 94, formerly of Neshkoro, died Monday, March 1, 1999, at Montello Care Center, Montello.
He was born September 10, 1904, in Iron River, Michigan, a son to Edward and Minnie (Adrain) Brockway, and received his schooling in Iron River. On April 27, 1932, he married Margarite Eggers in Fond du Lac. Ralph farmed until his retirement.
He is survived by one son, Ralph (Ellen) Brockway, Jr. of Neshkoro; five daughters, Sylvia Schultz of Campbellsport, Yvonne (Richard) Walsh of Eden, Joyce (Fred) Peterson of Waupun, Barbara (Dennis) Koats of Neshkoro and Alice (Duane) King of Ripon; 21 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; one sister, Elizabeth (Floyd) Watts and one sister-in-law, Helen Brockway, both of Fond du Lac. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Margarite, one son, one grandson and five brothers.
Private visitation and funeral service will be held Thursday, March 4, 1999, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. Reverend Frank Drollinger will officiate and interment will be in the Neshkoro Cemetery in the Village of Neshkoro.
