Ralph L. Schaefer, age 68, of Ripon, WI, died on Thursday, February 25, 1988, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
He was born November 30, 1919 in Menomonie, to Arthur and Suzanna (Huber) Schaefer. He was educated in Menomonie. On August 6, 1951, Ralph married Mae Brockett. He served our country in WWII in the United States Army. He was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon and of the V.F.W. Schultz-Klemp-Wentland Post #5278.
Survivors include three sons, Eugene of Effingham, IL, Darrell Wagner of Hudson, NH and Terry Schaefer of Onalaska, WI; one daughter, Mrs. Karleen (Gene) Bebel of Merrill, WI; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one brother, Lawrence of Menomonie, WI and three sisters, Laurlin Sipple, Erma Sipple and Adeline Gordon all of Menomonie. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Visitation for Ralph will be held on Friday, February 26, 1988, from 7 – 9:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with a V.F.W. service at 8:45 pm.
Funeral Services for Ralph will be held on Saturday, February 27, 1988, at 11:00 am at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon with Reverend James Mohr officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
