Ralph Frederick Zimmerman, age 88, of Fond du Lac, passed away Monday evening, June 19, 2006, at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac.
Ralph was born on December 12, 1917, in Eldorado, the son of Carl Frederick and Martha Agusta (Schade) Zimmerman. He was educated in Union Prairie, WI. Ralphs first marriage was to Dorothy (Wizner) Zimmerman, she passed away September 7, 1977. He married Grace Westhoff, she passed away September 1, 1979. Ralph served our country in the US Army from 1942-1944. He was a truck driver and a farmer.
Survivors include daughters, Kris Zimmerman of Green Lake, Marty (Joseph) Wilson of Green Lake and Karen Zimmerman of Dalton; sons, Richard (Toni) Zimmerman of Princeton, Thomas (Louise) Zimmerman of Arlington, TX., and Earl (Linda) Zimmerman of Eau Claire, WI.; grandchildren, Brian Wilson, Shelby Zimmerman, Jessica (John) Weaver, Bret Zimmerman and Stephanie (Marc) Bauer; 4 great-grandchildren, brother, Don and sister, Sally. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, wives, Dorothy and second wife Grace, son-in-law, Joseph Wilson, sisters, Lucille Schneider and Emily Schneider, brothers, Charles, George, William and Paul Zimmerman.
Private Family Funeral Service for Ralph Zimmerman will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2006, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home. Interment will be held in Union Prairie Cemetery, town of Metomen, Brandon, WI.
