Randall Kay Smith, age 75, of 420 Union St., Green Lake, died Wednesday morning, November 13, 2002, at Berlin Memorial Hospital.
He was born January 6, 1927, in Pardeeville, WI, a son to Ralph and Evangeline (Leghorn) Smith. Randall graduated from Green Lake High School and then joined the Navy for 3 years. In January of 1954, he married Joyce Myers in Alaska. After 17 years of serving in the Army, he retired and moved back to Green Lake. Randall graduated from UW-Oshkosh in 1972. He was employed as a rural carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He was a member of the Green Lake Legion Post #306 and the V.F.W.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce (Myers) Smith; son, James M. (Jane) Smith of Ohio; grandsons, Eric J. Smith of California and Mathew (Jennifer) Smith of Ohio; great-granddaughter, Rachel Irene Smith; sister, Barbara (Smith) Doherty of Green Lake; sisters-in-law, Helen Smith and Audrey Myers, both of Green Lake; brother & sister-in-law., Thomas & Alene Myers of Florida; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother & father; brother; and brothers-in-law.
At his request, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
