Ray R. Brasch, age 90, of Ripon, WI, passed away Friday, February 3, 2012, at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon.
Ray was born May 3, 1921, at his home in the Town of Metomen, WI, the son of Otto and Lydia (Dallman) Brasch. Ray’s father, Otto passed away when Ray was just 6 years old. His mother then remarried George Tabbert, Ray’s step-father. He attended Brandon Schools and then later Prairie View Country School. On September 25, 1943, Ray married Evelyn Meyer in Ripon. He farmed in the Ripon and Fox Lake areas and retired to Green Lake. Ray was a very active member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon.
Survivors include two daughters, Nancy (Michael) Beilke of DeForest, WI and Beverly (Lee) Garrett of Houston, TX; one son, Tim (Jo Ann) Brasch of Johnson Creek, WI; grandchildren, Michelle (Dan) Priebusch of Cottage Grove, WI, Jennifer (Troy) White of Maple Grove, MN, Evelyn (Scott) Voge of Houston, TX, Cristina (Perry) Buxo of Italy, Martin Acuna of Katy, TX, Teresa Brasch of Johnson Creek, WI, Denise (Wayne) Smith of Superior, WI and Kevin (Becky) Brasch of Jefferson, WI and twelve great-grandchildren and his special friend, Elsie Krueger. Further survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws and brothers-in-law. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, George Tabbert, wife, Evelyn; infant twin brother, sister, step-brother and step-sisters.
Visitation for Ray Brasch will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2012, from 10:30 – 11:30 am at Immanuel United Methodist Church, 401 W. Fond du Lac St. Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral service for Ray Brasch will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at 11:30 am at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon. Pastor Joshua Pegram will officiate. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon. Memorials may be directed to Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon.
