Raymond Pete William Luedke, age 86, of N5619 Spaulding Hill, Ripon, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2003 at Parkview Care Center, Ripon.
Pete was born June 19, 1917, in Ripon, a son of Reinhold and Elsie (Bierman) Luedke. He attended Prairie Lawn Grade School and graduated from Ripon High School. Pete married Mildred Berger on March 4, 1939, at Scott St. Church, Ripon. He was employed as a Farmer his entire life at his present address, as well as working part-time at Speed Queen and Ripon Foods. He was a member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ, Ripon, the church dart ball league, and enjoyed bowling, fishing, dancing, and playing cards.
Survivors include; his wife, Mildred Luedke of Ripon; Six children, David (Carla) Luedke of Princeton, Donna (Jack) Yearwood of Fisk, Duane (Nancy) Luedke of Fond du Lac, Carol (Ron) Bayer of Ripon, Nancy (Jim) Henning of Ripon, and Michael (Kathy) Luedke of Ripon. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, one brother, Oscar Luedke of Markesan, and one sister, Elda Page of Ripon. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
Friends may call on Monday, July 28, 2003, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 29, 2003, with visitation from 10:00 until the time of service, at Our Saviours United Church of Christ, Ripon. Rev. Mark R. West will officiate. Interment will be at Green Lake Center, Town of Green Lake. A memorial has been established.
