Raymond Schultz

Raymond J. Schultz, age 89, of Ripon, formerly of Rosendale, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at Ripon Medical Center, Ripon.
Ray was born on July 21, 1918, in the Town of Metomen, the son of Walter A. and Frances A. (Zwolski) Schultz. Ray went to Holmes School, Dakin School (grade schools) and graduated from Ripon High School. On September 26, 1946 he married Fern Bernice Stueber in the Elo Methodist Church. Ray worked as a farmer, also for A.H. Bluemke’s for 20 years as a mechanic, and Rosendale-Brandon School System for 17 years. He had been a member of the Sunriser’s Kiwanis Club of Fond du Lac, Rosendale Historical Society, Ripon Historical Society, Friends of the United Church of Christ, Rosendale.
Survivors include his wife Fern Schultz; daughter, Ann C. Schultz; son, Paul R. (Sandra) Schultz; four grandsons, Paul R. (Diane) Schultz Jr., Matthew V. (Margaret) Schultz, Mark D. (Tara) Schultz, and Lucas J. Schultz; three great-grandsons, Paul R. III, Mason M., and Ryan M. Schultz; five great-granddaughters, Brooke D., Maisy M, Mattie M., Jillian N., and Cassidy C. Schultz; one sister, Fern F. Zamzow; nieces and nephews. Ray was preceded in death by his parents; a brother-in-law, Ervin Zamzow; and a great-granddaughter, Marissa Lauren Schultz.
Visitation for Raymond J.Schultz will be held from 4-8:00 pm on Friday, June 13, 2008, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, and again from 12-2:30 pm on Saturday, June 14, 2008, at the Rosendale United Church of Christ in Rosendale.
Funeral Services for Raymond J. Schultz will be held at 2:30 pm on Saturday, June 14, 2008, at the Rosendale United Church of Christwith Reverend Gerald Schrankler officiating. Interment will follow in the Rosendale Cemetery, Village of Rosendale. Memorials can be given to the Rosendale United Church of Christ in Raymond’s name.
