Raymond Whitney

Raymond Porter Whitney, age 81, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 1993 at Parkview Care Center, Ripon.
He was born on July 10, 1912, in the Town of Rosendale, a son of the late Rolland and Jetty Porter Whitney. He married Hazel Brunson on June 19, 1935. Raymond had farmed on the Shaykett Whitney Homestead where he was born until retiring and moving to Russell Manor in 1992. He was a member of the Elo United Methodist Church and was a volunteer at the Pickett Community Center.
Survivors include his wife Hazel of Russell Manor; one son, Randall (Diane) Whitney of Juda; one daughter, Francine (Dale) Weatherwax of Columbus; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services for Raymond Whitney will be held Wednesday, November 10, 1993, at 1:00 p.m. at the Elo United Methodist Church. The Reverend Jeff Cole will officiate. Interment will follow in the Rosendale Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. A memorial has been established.
