Regina Jean Bornick, age 85, of Ripon, died Friday, March 12, 1999, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
She was born December 18, 1913, in the Town of Neshkoro, a daughter to Michael and Rose (Kamedulski) Maslowski. She was educated in Neshkoro. On June 24, 1939, she married Arnold Bornick at the parsonage of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Ripon. Jean worked for 35 years at Ripon Knitting Works, first in the yarn mill and later in the sewing department, retiring in 1976. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Ripon and the Altar Society. Jean enjoyed cooking, knitting, crocheting, flowers and doing nice things for people.
She is survived by her husband, Arnold; 1 sister, Adeline (William) Hobart of Corona, CA; 1 brother, Herbert Maslowski of Fond du Lac; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Sylvia Pralat, 2 brothers, John and Clarence Maslowski.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, March 15, 1999, at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Ripon with Father John A. Schmitz officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, March 14 from 5 until 8 PM with a Rosary at 5:30 PM. Visitation will also be on Monday from 10 AM until the hour of the service at the church. Entombment will be in Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park, Fond du Lac. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Patrick Catholic Church would be appreciated.
