Reidun Marie Mast

Reidun Marie Mast, age 95, of Ripon, WI, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2015, at Maple Crest in Ripon.
Reidun was born January 12, 1920, in Holmestrand Norway, the daughter of Anders and Marian (Nikolaison) Thorgersen. She came to America when she was five years old and grew up in Milwaukee, WI. She graduated from Rufus King High School and in 1944; Reidun married Gilbert I. Mast in Milwaukee. She worked as a Bookkeeper Aide in the Milwaukee school district for 35 years. Reidun moved to Ripon and became an active volunteer in the gift shop at Ripon Medical Center for 16 years. She bowled in a retired women’s bowling league in Ripon and enjoyed reading mysteries and love stories.
Survivors include her daughters, Sandy (Howard) Krueger of Ripon, WI, Patricia (Michael) Zinn of Bayou Vista, TX, and Janice Tuskowski of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Shawn Anderson of Sheboygan, WI, Denise (Mike) Meza of Berlin, WI, and Heidi (Paul) Cummings of Neshkoro, WI, Michelle (David) Dorsett of Friendswood, TX ,Brett (Melanie) Schwemer of Webster, TX, Nicholas Tuskowski of Houston, TX, Daniel (Cyd) Tuskowski of St. Petersburg, FL, David (Ashley) Tuskowski of Seminole, FL; step grandchildren, Howard Krueger, Mike Krueger, and Charlie Krueger, Linda Koch; twenty great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Marian Thorgersen; husband, Gilbert I. Mast and granddaughter-in-law, Carol Anderson.
Visitation for Reidun Marie Mast will be held Wednesday, September 16, 2015, from 10 – 12:00 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral Service for Reidun Marie Mast will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2015, at 12:00 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Father John Schmitz will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Ripon. Memorials may be directed to Generations Hospice, 1028 S. Main Street, Suite C, Fond du Lac, WI 54935 in Reidun’s honor.
