Reinhold G. Bloch, 87, of 535 South St, Green Lake, died Tuesday, December 12, 1989, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
He was born August 1, 1902, in Poy Sippi, to Gottlieb and Emilia Weiss Bloch. On January 18, 1927, he married Laura Kersten.
Mr. Bloch was educated in Green Lake and had lived in Green Lake most of his life. He worked for Green Lake County Highway Maintenance and after retirement he worked as a grounds keeper along Green Lake. He was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church in Green Lake and was a member of the Green Lake Senior Citizens.
Survivors include his wife; 2 sons, Arlin of Green Lake and Willis of Ripon; 2 daughters, Mrs. Garth (Donna) Bucholz and Mrs. Robert (Lois) Loeffler, both of Green Lake; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Otto of Green Lake, Bert of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Ben of Ripon; 1 sister, Mr. Alfred (Margaret) Alf of Ripon and 1 special friend, Mrs. Ron (Bjorg) Steinhorst of New London. His parents, 2 sisters, 3 brothers and 1 granddaughter preceded him in death.
Funeral services for Mr. Bloch will be held Friday, December 15, at 1:30 P.M., at the Peace Lutheran Church, Green Lake. The Reverend Rodney Dietsche will officiate and interment will follow in the Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake.
Friends may call Thursday from 5 until 8 P.M., at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
A memorial has been established for Peace Lutheran Church in his name.
