Reinhold "Whitey" Wesner

August 19, 1901 — January 2, 1990

Mr. Reinhold "Whitey" Wesner, age 88, formerly of Green Lake, WI died on Tuesday, January 2, 1990 at Parkview Care Center in Ripon.

He was born on August 13, 1901 in Borth, son of Fred and Otilla (Weis) Wesner. On November 19, 1931 he married Lillian Nagel.

Mr. Wesner was educated in Koro. He was a self-employed mechanic at the Wesner Bros. Garage in Green Lake for 25 years and ran a mobile home court for 17 years. He was a charter member of the Terrace Shores Evangelical Free Church, Markesan.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Dwain (Donna) Werch of Ripon and Mrs. Allen (Gloria) Schleicher of Green Lake; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four brothers, Herman of Berlin, Herb of Ripon, and Arnold and Leonard, both of Oshkosh; and three sisters, Ida Hoffman of Ripon, Lillie Meyerholtz of Fremont and Clara Sunderland of Green Lake.

One sister; five brothers and one granddaughter preceded him in death.

Funeral services for Mr. Wesner will be at 11:00 am on Friday, January 5, 1990 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, with Rev. Mark Townsend and Rev. Arthur Volkmann officiating. Interment will follow at Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake.

Friends may call Thursday, January 4, 1990 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home. A memorial has been established for the Terrace Shores Building Fund.
