Rena M. Wells, age 76 of Milwaukee, WI passed away on Friday, September 4, 1953 at Milwaukee County Hospital.
Rena was born in Hainsville, IL on June 22, 1877, the daughter of Henry and Alice (Owens) Wells. She lived in Hainsville, IL, Ripon, WI, and Milwaukee, WI throughout her life. Rena was manager of the Casualty Insurance Department at Chris Schroeder & Sons Co. for 40 years. She was a member of the St. James Episcopal Church of Milwaukee, WI.
Rena is survived by a sister, Bertha Woodmansee of Maywoos, IL; and two brothers, Henry H. Wells of Denver, CO and Arthur L. Wells who resides at the Veterans Hospital in Wood, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Alice Wells.
Visitation for Rena will be held from 12:00 pm on Monday, September 7, 1953 until 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 8, 1953 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, WI.
Funeral service for Rena will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 8, 1953 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, with Reverend Patrick S. Murphy officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
