Reuben M. Hoffman, 75, of Montello, passed away unexpectedly, on Friday, September 9, 2011, at his home.
Reuben was born in Rosendale, WI, on May 28, 1936, the son of Carl and Ida (Wesner) Hoffman. He attended Rosendale Schools, and he served in Korea for the U.S. Air Force. On May 9, 1964, Reuben married Lorette Hildebrandt, and she passed away in June 1985, he married Mary Kay Hoerig on January 1st, 1987. Reuben worked for Green Giant/Seneca Canning Company for many years as a mechanic. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Kay Hoffman of Montello, WI; two daughters, Denita (Bill) Espitia of Kewaskum, WI, and Robin (Jeff) Kasuboski of Ripon, WI; one son, Carl (Mary) Hoffman of Cascade, WI; two step-daughters, Kerri (Brent) Goyette and Kelli (Jeff) Karau both of Phoenix, AZ; two sisters, Elizabeth Eichstedt of Ripon, and Edna Stutzman of Goshen, IN; grandchildren, Katy (Taylor), Rachel, Ann, Tyler, Ashley, and Nicole; step-grandchildren, Brandon, Megan, Hailey, and Samantha; great-granddaughter, Victoria Dries; and many other relatives and friends. Special mention for Gary Eichstedt, Brent Goyette, Carl Hoffman, and Mark Kranz his fishing partners. Reuben has been preceded in death by his Parents; one sister Violet, and one brother Edwin.
Visitation for Reuben M. Hoffman will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2011, from 11am – 1pm at Immanuel United Methodist Church 401 West Fond du Lac St. in Ripon.
Funeral service for Reuben M. Hoffman will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at 1 pm at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon. Pastor Joshua Pegram will be officiating. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. A memorial is being established.
