Richard M. Goldsmith, age 72, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 1984 at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
Richard was born on April 25, 1912 in Westfield, WI,the son of Adolph and Bessie (Swartz) Goldsmith. He lived in Ripon most of his life, and worked at Speed Queen and J.I. Case in Winneconne as a painter. In 1936 he married Evelyn Kresal. She passed away in 1947. He later married Margaret Mischke. Richard was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Ripon.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Grace (Darwin) Ebert of Ripon, WI; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents and both of his wives.
Visitation for Richard will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday, July 5, 1984 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral service for Richard will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 6, 1984 at Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon, with Rev. Carl L. Stubenvoll officiating. Interment will follow at Reeds Corners Cemetery, Town of Metomen, WI.
