Richard Hackleman

Richard Gordon “Dick” Hackleman, age 87, peacefully passed into eternal life on Sunday, August 11, 2013. His daughters were present to witness his Lord and Savior bringing him home to be joyously reunited with family and friends that preceded him.

Dick was born July 1, 1926, in Lafayette, Indiana, the son of Marshall LaMarr and Mary Jane (Beeker) Hackleman. Dick married Annette Sorenson in Waukesha, WI on May 25, 1950. Dick worked as a Contract Administrator at Onan Corp. in Fridley, MN. Upon his retirement, Dick and Annette moved to Ripon, WI in 1991. Dick attended Ripon Baptist Church and loved his church family very much. Dick enjoyed fishing, stock car racing and dancing with his wife Annette. But above all else Dick loved his family; his first priority was always to care and provide for his wife and daughters.

Survivors include his daughters, Gail (Paul) Taylor, Waukesha, WI; and Carol Hackleman, Ripon, WI. He was preceded in death by his wife Annette, his parents, and two sisters, Betty Jo Buschman and Nancy Young.

There will be a service for family and friends at Nepeuskun Cemetery, Town of Nepuskun, on Friday, August 16, 2013, at 3:00 pm. His dear friend Pastor Joshua Sherman, of Ripon Baptist Church will be officiating. Memorials may be directed to Ripon Baptist Church, 950 Metomen Street, Ripon, WI 54971. Gifts will go toward supporting the ministry of “Our Daily Bread”.
