Richard Jahnke

Richard E. Jahnke, age 64, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on February 5, 1987, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.

Richard was born September 10, 1922, in Green Lake, WI, the son of Edward and Florence (Miller) Jahnke. He served our country in the United States Army in WWII as a Paratrooper 101st Airbourne. On September 29, 1943, Richard married Shirley Campfield in Ripon. He was a partner in the Jahnke and Schultz trucking firm of Ripon.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley; one daughter, Laura Jahnke of Sevilla, Spain; one brother, Norbert of Green Lake; three sisters, Myrtle Kurth of Beaver Dam, Irene Marotz of Madison and Ruth Schultz of Green Lake. He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be no visitation for Richard.

Funeral Service for Richard will be held on Friday, February 13, 1987, at 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with Reverend Arthur Volkmann will officiate. Interment will follow at Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake. A memorial has been established.
