Richard E. Prellwitz, age 73, of Ripon, WI passed away on Sunday, September 2, 1951 at his home.
Richard was born in Green Lake, WI on May 25, 1878 the son of Fred and Anna (Berndt) Prellwitz. He lived in the Ripon area all of his life. On November 29, 1899 he married Louise Born in Fairwater, WI. Richard worked at Speed Queen in Ripon until retirement, and was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Richard is survived by his wife, Louise; daughter, Mrs. Arthur Daehn; son, Roy; two brothers, Robert and Albert Prellwitz; two sisters, Martha Rupnow and Anna Buchholz both of Ripon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Anna Prellwitz; three brothers and two sisters.
Visitation for Richard will be held from 12:00 pm on Tuesday, September 4, 1951 until 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 5, 1951 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, WI, and again from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 5, 1951 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon.
Funeral service for Richard will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 5, 1951 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, with Rev. E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Ripon, WI.
