Richard “Dick” Quade, 60, died at his residence at R#1, Markesan, on Wednesday, December 27, 1989.
He was born December 9, 1929, in Milwaukee to Louis and Jessie Hazen Quade. On July 17, 1954, he married Dorothy Giese.
Mr. Quade was educated in Milwaukee and Brandon. He served as a Sergeant in the Wisconsin National Guard from 1949 until 1957. He was a Security Guard at Speed Queen in Ripon and had resided in the Town of Green Lake the last 25 years.
Survivors include his wife; 2 sons, Danny of Markesan and Gary and his wife Jacqueline of Markesan; 1 daughter, Debbie Van Loo of Waupun; 9 grandchildren; his mother, Jessie Quade of Nekoosa and 2 sisters, Doris Stracy of Nekoosa and Delores Schomer of Palm Springs, California. His father preceded him in death.
Funeral services for Mr. Quade will be held Saturday at 1:30 P.M., at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. The Reverend Harley C.W. Tretow will officiate. Interment will follow in the Green Lake Center Cemetery, Town of Green Lake.
Friends may call Friday from 4 until 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
