Richard Ryerson

Richard “Dick” Ryerson, 74, of Oshkosh, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2009, at his home.
Richard was born on June 11, 1935, the son of Ruth Ryerson. He attended high school in Pontiac, IL, and served his country in the Army National Guard. Richard was an over the road tractor-trailer operator for Crown Cork & Seal in Illinois. He was a member of Local 710 Teamsters.
Survivors include his partner of 20 years, Margaret Legois of Black River Falls, WI; four daughters, Glenda (Bill) Belter of Pontiac, IL, Brenda (Kevin) Cook of Pontiac, IL, Pamela (Chris) Pommerening of Oshkosh, WI, and Jeannette Ryerson of Nashville, TN; ten grandchildren, Josh, Jenny, Lyndsey, Korrie, Vanessa, Calvin, Travis, Brigette, Jordan and Aysha. Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Combs and step-father, Bruce Combs.
Richard will not only be missed by his family but by all his wonderful friends. There will be a time of gathering on Saturday, September 12, 2009, from 2-4:00 pm at the Oshkosh Senior Center at 200 N. Campbell Road, Oshkosh, WI. Memorials can be given to the Oshkosh Senior Center in his name.
