Richard H. Schwartz, 68, of Ripon, died Saturday, March 2, 1996, at Ripon Medical Center.
Richard was born on January 19, 1928 in the village of Wauzeka. The son of the late Howard and Edna (Radtke) Schwartz. He attended school in the Milwaukee Public
Schools. He worked for International Harvester Corp. in Milwaukee and Waukesha as a warehouse forklift operator. In 1983, he moved to Ripon and married Merle Clark on Nov. 24, 1983. Richard fought in the Korean War and retired as a Sergeant. He was a member of the V.F.W., LammsterNeumann Post #2787 and the NCO, and the 84th Army Reserve all of Milwaukee.
Survivors include his wife Merle; one son, Doug (Susanne) Schwartz of Milwaukee, WI; two stepsons, Kenneth (Linda) Kuehn of Oshkosh, and Jim Kuehn of Phoenix, AZ; one stepdaughter, Susan (John) Williams of Ripon, WI; two brothers, Howard (Marilyn) Schwartz of Milwaukee, WI, Norman (Carol) Schwartz of Muskego, WI; two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Richard is preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
Funeral services for Richard will be held Tuesday, March 5, 1996, at 1:30 PM at the ButzinMarchant Funeral Home in Ripon. The Rev. James D. Mohr will officiate. Friends may call from 12:00 to the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon.
