Richard O. Seeley, Jr., age 84, formerly of Downers Grove, IL, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 1991, at home in Green Lake, WI.
Mr. Seeley was born August 8, 1906, in Coal City, IL, a son to Richard O. and Anne (Blanchfield) Seeley, Sr. He was a self-employed pattern maker/carpenter. Mr. Seeley was a World War II United States Army Veteran. On February 23, 1946, he married the former Vera Altland in Joliet, IL. She preceded him in death.
Survivors include one step-daughter, Beverly (Richard) Watters of Green Lake; four grandchildren, Richard J. (Linda) Watters, Jr., of Paw Paw, IL, Kimberly (Tom) Wall of Paddock Lake, WI, Tamara (Kenneth) Hall of Downers Grove, IL and Shawn (Richard) Uphoff of Norfolk, VA; three great-grandchildren, Jennifer, Elizabeth and Richard J. Watters III. His parents preceded him in death.
A memorial Service for Mr. Seeley will be held Saturday, May 25, 1991, at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake. The Reverend Leo Joyce will officiate. Inurnment will be in Clarendon Hills Cemetery, Darien, IL. A memorial in his name has been established for St. Agnes Hospital Hospice Hope, Fond du Lac, WI.
