Richard Sieber

Richard “Doc” P. Sieber, age 92, of Ripon, went to be with the Lord on December 18, 2010.

Richard was born on December 14, 1918 in the Township of Greenbush, Wisconsin, the son of Julius and Esther (Polar) Sieber. He graduated from Plymouth High School in 1936 and Fountain City Business College, Fond du Lac in 1938. Richard married Ann S. Wielgosh on August 31, 1940, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Princeton, WI. Richard started his career at Wisconsin Power & Light. He served in the Army in the South Pacific Theater from 1944 until 1946. Richard retired as the hardware store manager of the Chilton Co-op/ Cenex. Richard was a member of St. John the Baptist Church, Doctor GG. Mueller V.F.W. Post 10452, and was a volunteer at the Ripon Medical Center. He enjoyed volunteering, the Red Apple Restaurant, driving, traveling, and gardening.

Richard in survived by his children, Richard A. (Maureen) Sieber of Pisgah, NC., Judy Reed of Pardeeville, WI., and Michael P. (Kim) Sieber of Pardeeville, WI.; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild; sisters, Dorothy DeMunck of Glenbeulah, WI., Coila Sieber of Baltimore, MD., Audrey (John) Stormoen of Dellwood, WI. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, wife Ann, daughter Patricia, brothers Fredrick, Donald, Robert, Harold; sisters, Erma, Margaret, and Barbara.

Visitation for Richard P. Sieber will be held on Sunday, December 26, 2010, from 4-7 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty, Ripon, WI., and on Monday, December 27, 2010, from 9:30- 10:30 am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1211 W. Main St., Princeton, WI.

Mass of Christian Burial for Richard P. Sieber will be held on Monday, December 27, 2010 at 10:30 am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Father Dale W. Grubba will be officiating. Interment will follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in the City of Princeton.

A memorial is being established.
