Roanne Klaver, 74, of W1115 Lillian St. Green Lake, passed away at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh on May 12, 2006.
Roanne was born on August 21, 1931 in Green Lake the daughter of William and Lucille (Anderson) McConnell. She graduated from Green Lake High School. On April 23, 1949 she married Albert Klaver in Ripon. Along with her husband she was owner of Klaver Construction in Green Lake for 40 years. Roanne was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake, Womens Legion Auxillary, Girl Scouts Leader and Green Lake Animal Shelter. She also volunteered her time to the Green Lake Harvest Festival and Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, woodworking with her husband, spending time at their cabin in Northern WI, fishing, cooking, gardening (flowers), ceramics and painting.
Survivors include her husband, Albert of Green Lake, five children; Diane Keeler of Green Lake, WI, Linda Klaver & (Ken Frank) of Edina, MN, Nell (Ray) Hudzinski of Princeton, WI, Ted (Tracy) Klaver of Cedaredge, CO, Cindy (David) Benson of Volga, SD, grandchildren; Owen & Jason Keeler of Ripon, WI, Simon Frank of Colorado and Helen Frank of New York, Cassie (Glenn) Bornick of Princeton, WI, Sarah Hudzinski of Oxford, MI, Adam, Andy and Nellie Benson of Volga, SD, great-grandchildren, Ashley Keeler, Anita Keeler, Shaun Keeler, Alexis and London Keeler. Roanne was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers; William, Jim, Charles, aand Jon, and one daughter, Mary.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Roanne E. Klaver will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green lake at 11:00 a.m. with Father Philip Krogman officiating. Inurnment will take place in the Dartford Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, Roanne has requested that memorials/donations be made out to the Green Lake Animal Shelter.
