Robert Coolidge Royce, age 82, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2013, at Prairie Place Assisted Living in Ripon.
Robert was born on November 7, 1930, the son of Wilfred and Charlotte (Coolidge) Royce in Mexico City, Mexico. He graduated from Wayland Academy, Beaver Dam, WI, and also from Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont. Robert served our country in the United States Army. In 1954, Robert was united in marriage to Nancy Ellen Peck in Ramsey, New Jersey. He was president of Montello Products Company Inc. until retirement. Robert was a member of EAA; Boy Scouts of America; Quiet Birdmen, and a member at First Congregational Church, UCC of Ripon.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Royce, of Ripon, WI; son, Jonathan (Suzanne) Royce, Aurora, IL; granddaughters, Alexis Royce, Grand Rapids, MI, Kristen Royce, Aurora, IL, Samantha (David) Stevens, Swanzey, NH, Sarah Royce, Oshkosh, WI; grandson, Eric Royce, Ripon, WI; sister, Elizabeth Royce, Denver, CO; nephew, Rick (Vicki) Royce; nieces, Susan (Elbert) Hardin, and Jodi (Jamie) Cahillane. He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Jamie Royce.
Memorial Service for Robert Royce will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at 11:00 AM at First Congregational Church, UCC, 220 Ransom Street, Ripon, WI, 54971. Reverend Joanna D’Agostino will officiate. A time of fellowship will follow. Inurnment will take place at Garden of the Cross Cemetery in the City of Ripon. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established at the EAA, P.O. Box 3086, Oshkosh, WI 54903; or a charity of your choice.
