Robert C. Dalton, age 69, of Ripon, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2008, at Fountain View Care Center.
Robert was born on July 7, 1938, in Rio, WI, the son of Lyle and Doris (Katchum) Dalton. He graduated from Rio High School, and went on to work in track maintenance for the railroad, where he repaired tracks as well as reset derailed locomotives and boxcars. On August 2, 1975, Robert married Judith Ballard in Ripon. He was of the Lutheran faith.
Survivors include his wife, Judith Dalton; daughter, Cathy (Vebija) Dalton-Bajramoski; son, Shane Dalton, and 4 grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Ronald Dalton.
Visitation for Robert C. Dalton will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2008, and from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 8, 2008, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral service for Robert C. Dalton will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 8, 2008, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Pastor Maurice A. Schaus officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial has been established.
