In loving memory, Robert Edward Duffy, formerly of Chicago, resident of Green Lake, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 1994, at his home.
Robert was born December 27, 1933, in Buffalo, NY, the beloved son of William F. and Claire (Haliman) Duffy. He married Hedwig Kreutzer on October 7, 1960, in Cedar Lake, IN. He served in the U.S. Army for two and a half years. He was a longtime employee of William Wrigley, Jr. Co. in Chicago taking medical retirement in 1991. For the last two years, Robert and his wife have made their home in Green Lake.
He will deeply be missed by his wife, Hedwig; by his children, Donna (Marty) Garber, Diane (John) Katsibubas, Jackie (John) Lazowski, and Robert (Colleen) Duffy all from Chicago, and Barbara (Gary) Kriley and Kathleen Duffy, both from Iowa; by his grandchildren, John, Corey, Jessica, Heather, Marc and Mary; by his mother, Claire; by his sister, Jean (Gene) Racine; by his brothers, William J. (Edna) Duffy and Joseph Duffy; also by many very dear nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, William and brother, John Jack.
Funeral Service was held at 11 am on November 12, 1994, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake. Reverend John R. Dowd officiated. Inurnment was in St. Patricks Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Ripon.
A memorial has been established in his name for the American Lung Association.
