Robert Carl Eichstedt, 68, of Ripon, passed away Sunday, February 26, 1995 at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah.
He was born July 20, 1926 in Duluth, Minnesota the son of Fritz and Florence Watts Eichstedt. Robert was educated in Ripon and on October 6, 1946 he married Elizabeth Hoffman. He was a farmer and employed as a custodian at Ripon Schools.
He served his country in the Navy from 1943 until 1945. He was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon and the American Legion Brown-Parfitt Post #43 of Ripon.
Robert is survived by his wife: Elizabeth Betty" Eichstedt of Ripon, 3 sons: Mike (Maureen) of Berlin, Gary (Charlotte) of Ripon and Mark (Cathleen) of Houston, TX, 3 daughters: Susan (Lynn) Bresser of Janesville, WI, Judy (Mark) Carpenter of Huntsville, AL, Bonnie (Ronald) Anderson of Janesville, WI, 20 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 1 sister: Doris Meyer of Ripon. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 granddaughters: Ronelle and Tammy Eichstedt, & 1 sister, Marion Gloyd.
Funeral services for Robert Eichstedt will be held at Wednesday, March 1, 1995 at 1:00 pm at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon with the Reverend Howard M. Ott officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
Friends may call Tuesday, February 28th from 5:00 pm until 7:30 pm at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon and from noon until the time of services Wednesday at the church. An American Legion Service will be held at 7:30 pm, Tuesady at the funeral home. A memorial has been established.
