Robert Arthur Evans, age 62, of W3136 Jane St, Green Lake, passed away Wednesday afternoon, September 7, 2005, at Ripon Medical Center, Ripon.
He was born January 22, 1943, in Milwaukee, a son to Robert William and Grace Ada (Cupps) Evans. He attended Washington High School. Robert had been C.E.O. of ECC Controls of Milwaukee. On October 24, 1964, he married Cathleen Tupper in Milwaukee, and they lived in Lisbon before moving to Green Lake. He was a Founding Father of Badger Model Builders and WISC Antique Radio Club, and he collected old cars and boats.
Survivors include his wife, Cathleen; 2 children, Steven (De) Evans of Wauwatosa and Melissa (Paul Van Den Heuvel) Evans of Marshfield; grandchildren, Dominique, Sydney & Alexandra Evans, and Grace & Jackson Van Den Heuvel; 1 brother, Clifford (Shirley) Evans; and 1 nephew, Kurt. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service for Robert A. Evans will be Monday, September 12, 2005, at 6 p.m. at the Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Dr, Milwaukee, with Clifford Evans officiating. Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to the Leukemia Society, American Cancer, Red Cross and Salvation Army.
