Robert I. Froberg, age 77, of Ripon, WI, passed away on May 22, 1985, at Veterans Administration Medical Center at Tomah, WI.
Robert was born December 30, 1907, in Chicago, IL, the son of Ernest and Hilda (Gustafson) Froberg. He served our country in the United States Army from June of 1942 to September of 1945 as a TEC 4 Medical Detachmen. Robert married Lillian Hostad on June 19, 1943. He worked as a service manager at Speed Queen in Ripon. Robert was a past Commander of the American Legion, the Ripon-Green Lake Masonic Lodge #95, the Valley of Madison-Scottish Rite Bodies and the ZOR Shrine Temple in Madison.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian and son, Ronald of Mequon, WI.
A graveside service for Robert will be held on Friday, May 24, 1985, at 1:30 pm at Wood National Cemetery in Milwaukee.
